[...] I was stuck in Arizona last year for the OU/Texas game. It wasn’t that bad. Except that I didn’t watch the game live, I completely melted down on a desert golf course in more ways than one, and I was stuck watching the Mizzu/OSU game with a bunch of drunk Missouri transplants. Which is like watching a football game in the lobby of a Best Western. [...]

[...] I have officially had enough of this crap; YOU know what I’m talking about, cause we’ve all heard this excuse since about five minutes after the final gun in the RRS. We only began to move the ball once Oklahoma’s leader Ryan Reynolds left the game with a knee injury, and IF he stays healthy it would have been a different story. If you need a refresher, just read this OU stooge or check the game recap at Red Dirt Kings. [...]

Texas does not have to twice, although they could to Tech, OSU, Missouri or even A&M - despite how bad the Aggies suck, it's happended before.

If Texas loses to either Tech or OSU, and OU beats that team, you have a 3-way tie for 1st in the South. The tiebreaker depends on the BCS rankings. OU would have the benefit of losing first, so OU would be ranked higher in both human polls and (very likely) in BCS. Thus, OU to Big XII title game.

"I guess you did not see the two very large gains ( one for touchdown) OU had where there was an illegal player downfield."

Can't have an illegal player downfield when you throw the ball behind the LOS.

hth

I guess you did not see the two very large gains ( one for touchdown) OU had where there was an illegal player downfield. This is fact and was reviewed on ESPN as they were looking at bad calls. With this being said OU would have trailed the entire game.

I like your optimism, but what two games does Texas lose to put OU in the National Championship Game? Like Georgia last season, they won't let OU in NC Game unless they win the Conference.
