Oklahoma State University has offered its vacant Defensive Coordinator position to former Oklahoma and current Miami DC Bill Young. That’s Miami of Florida, not Miami of Ohio or Miamuhhhh, Okla.
Let me get this straight: Oklahoma State, one of the top 5 teams in the Big 12 South, plans on luring the defensive coordinator of one the best football programs over the past 25 years?
Of course, there may be other factors at work here …
A report out of Miami says Hurricanes defensive coordinator Bill Young has been offered Oklahoma State’s defensive coordinator position.
CaneSport.com, a Web site affiliated with the Rivals network, reported this afternoon that Young, an Oklahoma City native, has been offered $700,000 per year to lead the Oklahoma State Cowboys defense.
Those other factors?
It was believed that Young was going to be in Stillwater either Sunday or today to discuss the position.
I am guessing ”discuss the position” is code for “scheduling Bill for 13-hour lobotomy at Oklahoma State School for Veterinary Sciences.”
I know how down Miami is, but give me a fucking break. If Bill Young takes this job, he might as well change his name to Bill “The North Central Oklahoma Whore” Young. Assuming, of course, Boone isn’t planning on exchanging Coach’s brain with that of a goat.
