The Entourage Formula

I love HBO’s Entourage. Sure, it’s Sex and the City for guys, but it’s still fun — and a bit pathetic — to live the Hollywood life vicariously through these four seemingly normal guys from Queens.

The show, however, does have a very specific formula, which you can see after the jump.

1. Vince doesn’t get movie because co-star, producer, director or studio hates him
2. Ari works his magic and they either get the movie or find a movie Vince loves more
3. They all party
4. They go broke
5. Issue lines like “Baby bro,” “Fuck you, Ari,” and “You’re the man, Vin”
6. Stress out about finding another movie
7. Repeat

Now, I didn’t come up with this formula on my own. Nope, CollegeHumor.com posted a parody trailer of the above mathematical science. The characters, particularly Turtle and Drama, are pretty spot on. Still, I love Entourage and can’t wait for it to return this summer. This is one show, however, that desperately needs a full hour. Make it happen, HBO.
