So, I fully blame this dude for taunting the Gods and the hubris that doomed the Sooners in Miami Saturday night. But anyway, Sooner Nerd, from last week’s DBFOTW, posted a video apology after his rant on how bad Miami sucked and/or played. Yeah, I blame him. Read his apology after the jump. Or just hate him for the good Sooners being 2-2.
This apology was posted on the Rivals.com Oklahoma site, SoonerScoop.com, after he was laughed at by a nation of Sooner fans. At this point, he just looks more foolish than anything as the ‘Canes posted a narrow 21-20 win over Oklahoma. Meh.
Yes, I was the guy who made the “infamous” youtube video where I ripped Miami after losing to Virginia Tech. After stepping back and looking at the big picture I realized that I made a mistake. I was a poor representation of the Sooner fanbase and for that I am truly sorry. I’m damned if I do and damned if I don’t. The damage is done and I realize that there is little I can do to change that. The least I can do is “man up” and show my face again and apologize. I will still be attending the game even with all the hate I know I’m sure to recieve [sic].
I will think twice before doing anything like this again. Once again to all of Sooner Nation. I was an idiot. I embarassed [sic] you all. And for that I am truly truly sorry.
