The Statue of Liberty ain’t got shit on Big Tex. In exactly 15 days, the Sooners and Longhorns will converge at the white trash festival that is the State Fair of Texas. And we want you to take photos. That’s right, send us your best photos from the fair and/or game by Oct. 19 and we’ll post the best for all the Kingdom to see. Hell, we might even find a sweet prize for the winner.
And yes, this is a blatant ripoff tribute to our friends at The Lost Ogle and their recent Oklahoma State Fair photo contest. We can only hope the State Fair of Texas can make as strong a showing as the Oklahoma batch. Hey, we know a good idea when we see one.

Wish I had some pictures from the OKC State fair. (i.e. the hefty girl with wife, husband, inlaws(?), and baby; wearing knee-high zip up black boots, short black skirt, and boobs falling out of a black shirt that reads “White Trash”.
